You folks must be tired of mantis photo so far but I always wanted to post this one for a while now, here's my chance.

What where the image editing technics used?

Rotated 90degress counter clock wise, crop, levels(output and input levels),
image size (35%) , some sharpening on the whole image, then some more selective sharpening on the subject. I don't remember using any noise reducing technics, the image wasn't noisy enough, forgot to add that ISO50 was used, I use ISO100 very rarely. Lately I find that I use selective sharpening more often, if you have a blurred background no need to sharpen it, it usually adds a little more noise which will be more clearly seen on the background than the subject(which usually contains more detail).

That’s probably the best Mantis photo I have seen. Nice to see photographers with these digital ELPH’s take such great shots!

Wow, this shot is awesome! They are so cute, almost looks robotic. Excellent pose, sharp image. He looks like he's saying "Don't you have anything better to do?" Well done :-)

I'll never get tired of mantis photos they seem to have more personality than most bugs. ;-)
