What where the image editing technics used?

Rotated 90degress counter clock wise, crop, levels(output and input levels),
image size (35%) , some sharpening on the whole image, then some more selective sharpening on the subject. I don't remember using any noise reducing technics, the image wasn't noisy enough, forgot to add that ISO50 was used, I use ISO100 very rarely. Lately I find that I use selective sharpening more often, if you have a blurred background no need to sharpen it, it usually adds a little more noise which will be more clearly seen on the background than the subject(which usually contains more detail).

That’s probably the best Mantis photo I have seen. Nice to see photographers with these digital ELPH’s take such great shots!

I'll never get tired of mantis photos they seem to have more personality than most bugs. ;-)
