October 22 2004. Minor edit to the photo (added a bit of black space to the bottom of the photo) to center the image a bit more. I should have allowed for this during the final crop. There was plenty of black space in the original photo.

Rich, it’s my LCD monitor, I set Windows desktop color to white, moved all icons to the center of the screen so my head would hide them, then took numerous shots at different exposers to get the desired effect.

I like it, very simple and effective. I even like the purple fringing around the monitor as it makes it glow!
