Conceptual Minimalism *

Photography Minimalism:
I know this photo is "busy" and anything but "minimal" considering its content.
However, I have tried to address conceptual minimalism in photography world. I have included seven photography elements at its "minimal" level in the shot.
(1) Camera: Its my old P&S, no frills, film camera
(2) Tripod: I have used stack of books
(3) Studio Light: Simple lamp in the background
(4) Diffusor: As lamp throws light upwards, its Ceiling
(5) Spot Light: I use my back-packing headlamp. its not visible but you can see it is shining on the camera
(6) Dark Room: The reddish light gives dark room feeling
(7) Plain Back Ground used in studio shots: Wall

- As it is photography at its minimal level, the photo is straight out of the camera...no PS work, except resizing of course.
- I Used low f-stop to enhance camera focus and to make books, lamp blurry.
- I lit objects with dim yellow lights and set white-balance to fluorecent to get dark-room "red" colors.

other sizes: small medium original auto

That's a great effort Abs, the red colour & shadow work very well. The main thing is you're thinking, seeing & trying new things which show in your work. Good onya mate.

Its difficult to read those notes under the photo, at least for me, so am writing here too.
