Headstone

The rounded cement back wall of a Chinese grave.
Dorys made an excellent suggestion to crop the original photo
further and I gladly took it.

Yes, even us "girls" can come up with a good idea every once in a while. LOL

Well done Dorys, I was too scared to say anything (Don is my hero) The shot is now on topic:-) Looks really good now Don.

Hi Doris... what's not to love and appreciate about your suggestion? Thanks for making it. We all get a little too close to our own photos sometimes (or in this case, not close enough). Cheers, Don

I see something different! I'm flattered you took my suggestion. But quite frankly, this definitely fits the "minimalist" challenge so much better. Dorys

Thanks, Shu, and special thanks to you, Dorys. As a photo, I think this works well, but as a minimalist study, I think your suggestion is spot on. I'll experiment with it tonight and you may see something different in this space tomorrow.

I love the composition but just for the sake of this challenge, I put my hand on the screen (yes, very technical I know :-) ) and cropped it just above the rocks (?) so just the red circle on it's stand shows. Otherwise, everything about the photo is great; lighting, composition' symmetry.

Nice composition and the red grabs me. Shu
