Running in Circles

Sometimes I feel like all I do is move in a never ending circle and nothing really gets done. I am there, in the middle of all the chaos trying to make sense of it. When I finally understand that it is what it is, then the lights become brighter and things seem to slow down around me.

Yes, the monitors I can see Melissa's face on are LCD's. I can't see it on my CRT. I guess her expression is more of a stare than a scowl. It's definitely not a smile. I've seen her smile in the scavenger hunt. --Garrett

of course rod, what is downloading between friends. I have got to find some time to work on my photoshop skills. things should be calming down here in the next month and I am really getting into improving my abilities in this field of photography. shame my dimples didn't show up. you know there is one pic of almost my whole face somewhere around here. Ann C. might remember where it is. :)

I couldn't see your face on my CRT monitor I wonder if Garrett has LCD monitors as they seem brighter with more contrast. Intrigued I downloaded the shot into PScs & used the shadow & highlight tool & I can assure you Melissa isn't scowling at all. She has a very pleasant wide eyed look in this shot with the eyes in between the top ring, nose in between the second ring, & the lips just below the bottom ring which looks great. The Highlight & shadow tool shows up your very pretty face but the rest of the shot lost that glow. I'm sure with some PS skills the face could be brought up without losing the rest of the shot.
PS. Can I have your (backdated) permission to download this shot?:-)

I can see your scowling face on two of my monitors. I'm not sure if it adds to or detracts from the image. --Garrett

thanks guys, I must admit it hit me last night after my son had been cleaning thru his things and I saw this and thought I can use that for my last picture. I was going to doing something with moving marbles or bouncy balls, but this with the circles of light I really liked. On my camera's lcd you could see my face sort of in the background. I am sure harry could see it, doesn't show up on my monitor and I didn't want to mess with my monitor anymore so I honestly don't know if this is the was I was kind of scowling in. And yes fly it is one of those toys like you get at the circus with the three lights hanging until you turn it on and there you have it.

Wow that's awesome Melissa, great effect & execution. The circles look too round for you to have drawn them with the torch. Are we allowed to know the secret?
