A good gallery program is Coppermine. On the other side, I think the best thing is to submit to Alamy and forget about your pictures until the checks start coming in :) Not that mine have started, but I'm sure you would do quite a lot better than me.

Thanks. As for the stock thing, I've just not had the time to seriously persue it. When the kids start school again I will get my butt in gear and devote some time to it. I'm also seeking ways to add a gallery with a search feature to my website so I can get that into the mix as well. It's a pretty essential tool to have if I want to invite photo buyers in. I'm also looking for the biggest/best stock agency that will have me with my limited knowledge and experience. ~ Lonnit

Still not into stock??? You're *so* losing money!

WOW, stillness of winter ... Great

I guess it really doesn't matter "what" it is, but more "that" it is - unless the style is a bad one! LOL! Hopefully, whatever it is in mine that makes it recognizable is a good thing. When I do finally make it into stock, that recognizability factor could be a very good thing. ~ Lonnit

I'd say do not try to find out. Often, people can recognize you from a distance or from your back, by the way you move, walk, etc. We aren't conscious of that, and maybe even the other people don't even think consciously about that, but it's there. I think it is the same with photographs. They have a certain "something" that says this is a Lonnit.

Thanks. And about my style, I quit! I can't figure out what my "style" is and it's driving me nuts. People keep telling me my style is recognizable and I haven't a clue what they mean. Perhaps I should not even try to figure it out, b/c maybe if I do, I'll scr*w it all up! LOL! Which might not be a bad thing if my "style" is not a good thing! LOL! ~ LOnnit

Beautiful scene, Lonnit.. There is something about snow on bare branches. Nicely done

Lonnit, It is my humble opinion that the greatest complement that could be paid to a photographer is that they have a style unto themselves. Over the last few months of looking at your work, I have come to recognize unmistakably that you have a stlye all your own.

Thanks all. No, it's not infrared, just good ol' snow. :) I'd been waiting for an opp to go out in the snow and we managed to get one while the kids were in school, so off I went for a drive. I stumbled upon this park on an offshoot road I'd never taken, from another road I'm rarely near. Curiosity paid off. :) ~ Lonnit

Looks like infrared. Is it?

Well done Lonnit, you've got a photo in already, and I hadn't even finished setting up the galleries. A cool pic. (in more ways than one), and nicely framed. Neil
