Can I drive?

The crepe myrtle justs want to get in and drive away, or so it seems. The blossoms were heavy with the nights rain and were drooping on the car. When I saw this I thought the colors of the blossoms and the car were very complimentary. I had to take a picture.

A shameless and shallow attempt to capture Ann Chaikin's vote as I know how partial she is to the PT Cruiser. I just hope she likes crepe myrtles as much. LOL! No, Ann, it's not my car. It belongs to Mrs. Pops' mother.

Pops, this really is so lovely and refreshing and soothing. I could most certainly picture this on a magazine page. The thumbnail grabbed me in and I had to revisit. I felt so good "coming home" to it again. It's hitting me stronger this time. It's just so vibrant and full of life. Put this one on your wall. :) ~ Lonnit

Great shot :-) I really like that the blossoms and the car have a very similar color.

I like it. I like the petals on the ground and how the house in the background is misty desaturated by comparison to the vibrant colors up front. I find the framing a bit distracting but it's a really nice and balanced shot. :) ~ Lonnit
