Yowch! Not good... not good at all (for your skin). Great for the picture though. ;) Ann

My goodness! (The good news is that you got a great image out of that burn.) You might say, "Entering the challenge was a real pain!" Shu

Hi Don, I remember that wild-eyed look from "Say Ah." Great, un-typical self-portrait, I can practically feel the heat radiating off your face. I like the tight cropping which emphasizes the glare of the eyes AND off your skin! Hope the aloe is working. - Paul

Hi Gayle and Philio... I'm afraid that's me... I shot it with low saturation and just gave it a mild boost in Photoshop to bring it up to what I really looked like. That was last night, however, and I'm a little more normal-looking this morning. And thanks to a 100% aloe vera product I picked up on my last trip to Penang, there was no pain. Thanks very much for your comments. Don

If this is sunburn, then OUCH! Been there, done that and I can sympathise. Remember the sunscreen next time. Great photo, very expressive blue eyes. Is this you, Don?

Is that you, Don? You're a nice contrast to the flower macros! Nicely framed with just the right wild-eyed look. Funny idea. Hope the red is more from PS than the sun. -Philio Vance
