Looks nicer. About the softness: I must say that Gayle has a great eye! I hadn't seen it. Now, you can always say that the softness is because the viewer is getting out of a dream and taking the path into reality :oO Yes, you can probably stick to that ;)

Gayle, Nugar, thanks for your comments. I've rotated it slightly and I think you're right on that one - hopefully that's better. As regards the softness, that was intentional, but whether it was the right thing is another matter! Phil

Very pretty picture, Phil. Nice leading lines, makes me want to wander up the path. It's a little soft at the beginning of the path though. Maybe a smaller aperture would have been better?

Very nice picture, Phil. Well exposed. * The picture seems to lean a tiny bit to the left. Maybe you can rotate it a bit in PS?
