My friends and I were hiking the Bruce Trail in southern/central Ontario, exploring the many limestone caves and crevices. They were trying to find a way back up a crevice and I couldn't resist to take a picture of their progress :D .

One of my first photos back in 1999 using my Kodak DC280. The original image quality was pretty bad: the rock by my foot was overexposed and the limestone crevice was heavily shadowed. I'm surprised that any detail existed in the shadows! The only thing I could do was increase the shadow details and overall picture sharpness. Any comments on what else could have been done would be greatly appreciated.
