Disney Concert Hall Detail #1

This challenge motivated me to finally visit the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. Depending upon one's viewpoint (and architectural tastes), the curvaceous design of WDCH is either adventurous or just downright weird. It definitely is not boring.

The details of the design are as fascinating as the entire structure. Here's the first of two close-up abstracts. Or, for those reading between the lines, I haven't yet got an image of the entire building that I like ;-)

I used the "warming filter 85" photo filter in PS, along with some curves adjustment and USM.

Hi Mark, thanks for your comments. Steve - I seem to recall that you had an embarrassment of riches for the recent "Bridges" challenge ;-P

Paul, really a nice shot. I think this captures a lot of the art that architects can do with materials these days that would not have been possible before. Very nice lines.

No fair! You're close to the coolest building constructed in the US in the past 25 years! :-)
