Thanks folks. Gayle, I did not sweep up. ;) If you look closely at the black and white photo I posted of the same stairs you'll see something on one of the stairs. That said, the folks at Haggens do a first rate job of keeping the place cleen and inviting. It isn't the cheapest market in town but it is the best IMHO. ;) I like shopping there. Ann

Did you take a broom and sweep this before you took the pic? It looks way cleaner than the back of any supermarket I've ever seen. Very nice and dramatic photo, Ann. If you hadn't said so, I would have thought it was s stage door at a theatre.
