* Orphan Eyes

This is a picture of my wonderful puppy that my wife saved from an animal shelter for Valentine's Day two years ago. She said it was this look that made her see how special this dog is, and that she would appreciate having us as a family as much as we would in having her. Just look at those eyes!

Thanks for the comment! I did not really think about the background until long after I took the shot. The cracked concrete really does add to the effect (I should really get that fixed :D). Vallee is a beautiful dog; she is part Chow and part Shepard (at least, that's what the shelter told my wife). She is extremely intelligent, athletic, and is wonderfully photogenic.

Fantastic picture. The bland and greyish background really adds to the "shelter" atmosphere, and that dog is an exceptional model. What kind is it?
