I cooked these guys in pure butter! Splatter is a concern but that's what a UV or Skylight filter is for! Lenses and lens coatings are pretty tough. I saw a salesman for a camera distributor put out his cigarette on a lens and after cleaning it there was no visible damage! Don't do that at home. He was a professional and had a large equipment allowance. LOL

Good job Pops. I love the color. Did you get bacon greese on your lens? I tried photographing my breakfast a few times and had to be very careful about spatter. Ann C

One egg? Well if I had a double yolker, but I didn't. I cooked only a single pair of eggs and took about 10 plus shots. It was a yummy breakfast.

Hehe - great pic. This makes me want to go cook some eggs. Btw, just HOW many eggs did you need to cook in order to get this shot? (and if you say only one I will be quite envious because I literally need to take about 20-30 shots before I even get a mediocre pic!) :)
