A polarizer might help, I'm not sure. I've retouched this a bit (curves and USM) and I think it is a bit less hazy. I composed the image through the LCD and not the viewfinder in order to spare my retinas from the sun. - WS

How does one shoot right into the sun like that without damaging the eyes, and isn't it also bad for the meter? I want to shoot some sunsets. It's nicely exposed but the haze has washed it out. Would a polarizer help this, or no because the sun wouldn't be at a right angle to the film plane? ~ Lonnit
