This is the first radio controlled flight for this young lady. She is being helped by Billy, a CCRC member, on a buddy box while a class mate waits for her turn.

Each year the Cobb County Radio Control Club hosts the third grade classes from the Walker School for a flight field day. The kids have studied what makes planes fly and they get a chance to fly their own gliders. Some of the kids get a chance to fly a real radio controlled airplane! It's the highlight of the third grade school year!
