This is wonderful, Jano, for all the reasons already given. Whoever would have thought that going under the highway overpass would have given such a good portrait? Very well seen on your part.

Thanks all for commenting. As I was doing the senior shoot, we walked a ways further down the track to under the highway. I was so excited with the sun setting and shining through the colums. I used my 420ex with a light sphere diffuser to illuminate the subject. I auto focused, and then recomposed to obtain the surrounding scenery. I am not sure if I was in manual or aperature priority... or I may have been in high sync. I was shooting like a bandit as the light was fading fast. jano
This looks really good! Nice to see what one can do shooting at F1.2. The point of focus is spot on. Did you have to manually focus for this shot or select one of the focus points?
Very ahrty, excellent light choices, and what a creative idea! She looks terrific.
(I hope happy customers are good paying customers too, and they should be happy with this one)

Hard to say about the flash as there's light coming in from the left, do you have off camera flash Jano? This is a very flattering portrait, well done.
Now this must have some flash but how did you get the WB so bang on with that nasty light behind her? This is edgy and awesome. What a location for a (senior?) portrait! This needs zero processing except for a crop to print aspect ratio. If this isn't hanging on her parents wall and in her boyfriends wallet it's a crime. A++ -Doug
