With this angle and lighting, the buildings look rather threatening, Tommy. Your explanation further supports that idea.

i've been in this building - back in 1999 when it had only just changed from Bankers Trust Plaza.
I used to work for BT/Deutsche Bank and had a business trip over in early 99. It was interesting to revisit this site last summer when I was in NY on holiday.........peta

Thanks all - this building is clinically "dead" since 911. It's the Deutsche Bank building which is condemned for debris and damage but hasn't been demolished because of continuing litigation after accidental deaths in a fire a year after 911. -tv

The shadow on the lower portion of the middle building adds another dimension to it. Your title is perfect for the grey sky. -Doug

Shot looks perfectly exposed for and the colors look just right. I agree the framing looks reall good. I'd only perhaps be slightly tempted to crop just a sliver off the right side. The building covered up like that now, looks kind of intimidating and monolithic. I wonder how this shot will look with a bit of Topaz or Lucis applied, just to get some texture out of the cover. It looks pretty neat.

That's a tricky one Tommy for in camera picys, I don't know if I would point my camera to a grey looking sky. It came off really well & the framing looks terrific mate. Well done.
