Beautiful and their rain gear sets the mood of the day.

The angle you shot it at serves well to highly the height of the trees without even seeing the tops. Well done. -Doug

No shadows or bright spots. It's okay in my book - and I happen to like it too.

This has beautiful lighting they're walking in to & nicely composed too.

Thanks for the comments Tommy and John. Believe me, this was a very overcast day and drizzling or raining most of the time. I think the EXIF numbers can give some idea of how dark it was. Despite that, we all kept saying how beautiful the path and surrounding woods and lake were.

Borderline flat since the shoes seen to cast some shadow. I like the colors of their rain gear against the pine needles ... any more light and you don't get to appreciate the color of the greenery -John

Flat lighting works well for a shot like this. The color and detail of the leaves are preserved and set a good stage for the hikers. -tv
