A bit soft but a good capture nicely composed too with the bird right at the edge of the water coming down.Debi

I always loved animals but didn't really like the birds. But after I started to photograph them I began a big fan of birds. It is beautiful and enjoyable process to watch. I think, the shutter speed 1/250 is too slow for this picture resulting unsharpness. The rule of thumb means that the speed should be at least the focal length - 1/400 in this case. I would try at least 1/600, better faster. I think with your camera you can increase ISO up to 800 without any visible noise.

Thank you Penny! I had never seen one before and a local fellow told me what they were. They are beautiful little bird to watch.
