My fave of the three. I also like the b/w. For my personal taste I wouldn't mind just a tad extra contrast (without overexposing the white rope) but this as is has its own charm. Has an vintage look b/w to it. After getting twice the normal amount of rain last month here in the north east, we're getting back on track for July 8). Didn't work out as well for this challenge but that's the only negative ;)
Divers are working on these docks and there's lots of diving equipment around. But today they weren't working and the equipment was all dry. I kind of like the random curves and loops of the lines on the dock imitating the curvey shapes in the water. And you all know how I like clutter and disbursed activity in the frame. -tv
I'm having a very hard time with this image. My eyes can't find a place to settle. I'm all over the place trying to figure out the subject. There's so much movement in the wires and the water, so that big hunk of solid mass in the middle is the only place I can go to stop the frantic eye movement that makes me anxious - but when I get there, it's just a big hunk of nothing interesting to look at. Your much better than this! What else ya got? ;)~ Lonnit
I can see that you miss Pennys input for how to interpret the topic. Now if you carried a bottle of fresh spring water & poured it over where they tie the rope this would have looked great a.
