#6 Dripping With Culture

The New Britain Museum of American Art

I was the only one walking around inside the museum
with an open umbrella anticipating my trip to the car
through the drenching, ongoing rain here in
Connecticut!
(In case you're wondering, I was told to put away both my
tripod and my umbrella but not before I grabbed this
shot in the museum lobby.)

Great pic shu. I recall a couple of instances of grabbing my tripod and leaving after a warning. Does it get any easier? Chris

Way to flex those photographers rights! :)
The shiny part of the wall going right for the umbrella makes this work for me, challenge wise. Of course the great smile helps too. Splendid to see you here in eligible. I've been away far too long. Exhibition has been mostly my home ;)

Thank you guys! Rod, Ed howled at your comment. I actually took this shot because I loved the great textured wall in the lobby. It is actually graduated texture of light and dark just as you see it. I was carrying my umbrella so I got up the nerve to shoot it, even while passersby were giving me strange looks! shu

Yes a gorgeous picy of a gorgeous girl, I bet the reason you were being thrown out isn't so much the camera but it was Ed trying to set off the sprinkler system for a more authentic shot:-)
