Thanks all for your kind words! I processed the original raw file twice.
The original here has too strong bright areas (similar to Bruce’s “Schooner in the City”). I hardly reduced exposure in raw editor to get the brightest parts look acceptable, send result to PS as smart-object, created a copy of it, loaded the copy back to raw editor, corrected exposure & colors for the rest of the picture, send it to PS and merged two layers into one, masking out the brightest zone. Then did some small color correctness & sharpened the result. That’s it.
