Brent , I generaly shoot at 5600 kelvin regardless, whether it is day or night, bright or cloudy,it generally gives me shots slightly on the warm side as i hate cool temperatures, they just seem to make everything pale and washed out.
i don't rely on the auto setting , as the camera seldom gets it right so this cast is from the temperature of the lighting.

Nice image Eric and to me the water is the most obvious triangle. This seems just a little heavy on color for my taste but I wonder if that is from the color temp being quite high to give the sidewalk that orange look. If this was shot raw I would be tempted to change the WB or add some luminance to the orange channel.

The main aim was the lights , they looked like triangles but when I had a look on the monitor there was too much glow to actually see they were triangular so I will settle on the water and the concrete.

I don't know how I missed the triangles in the concrete. Yes, Tommy. I remember thanking you for allowing us to cheat by using the frame before this got rolling. What a beautiful and romantic place for a stroll by the way. -DOug

Uh?? boardwalk is just a collective term this one my be concrete but you can still get "under the Boardwalk" I guess also people run and ride their bikes on it as well as walk, you could sleep on it or even eat on it as well.

I didn't see the water as a triangle but definately there is 2 on the concrete,, maybe I should have just done a triangular crop or stuck a glass pyramid in the middle or had my missus hold a channel marker in her hand.

Maybe I should have called the topic "wedges" a Doug? Since I caved in to the Missus and allowed triangles to be formed by the edges, I've regretted it because many postings lack what visually says "I am a triangle". Instead we have many imposters. This is a good twilight shot distance shot although even the "board"walk seems to be an imposter made of concrete. -tv

The wedge of water is triangle enough for me. Too much whang for me though. -Doug
