Nice piece of b&w image/conversion. I love the trees, forests and timber. My fav place to be. Lots of triangles to be seen. jano

Thanks all for the kind words. Looks like I better keep the b/w. -Doug

I think this works best by far of the three Doug. This is maybe more ahrty in B&W but I like the color version too. Nice to see you were getting out in the fresh air for your picys too :-)

If you change this to the colour version in Pending I will eat your kids:-)

Ditto what Rod said and for a bw newbie, this is precocious and arty work. In fact it's good even for an old diehard like me. And as for triangles, this is one of the most pleasing in the gallery for finding and showing the triangles as a vital and natural component of the image. -tv

Thanks for the comment and for pushing me to b/w. I've aquired a taste for it lately for sure. Even still, I might switch this for the color version. -Doug http://www.pbase.com/ctfchallenge/image/112499237

Well done Doug I can see you're working on your B&W picys to bring out that look & mood that B&W does so well. The grouping of darker trees in the middle adds a quite original look to this I hope you're enjoying the creative process that mainly B&W needs more than colour in most cases, I think. Itsa goodun mate.
