Very nice, RK. A technique I like to use in similar situations: If you have the RAW version of this image, make 3 copies in your RAW converter, at the same temp (I usually use 5750) & exposure values of -/+2 each. Then process to your taste in HDR software (I use Photomatix Pro 3). That should bring back a nicely balanced sky.
