Nice Brent, I like the look of the opposite corners. Great shallow DOF on in the upper left and sharp as a tack on the flower.

Thanks much you guys, the cactus (don't know what it is called) is relatively small and that flower is about the size of a fingertip of a little finger.

I definitely echo everyone's comments about this looking great. Is this some kind of mini cactus?

really nice colors - love the completely OOF corner contrasting the perfectly sharp corner. Great job!! Penny Street

Perfect for the topic Brent, and a great picture besides! Good sharpness in the foreground and just the right amount of DOF to keep our eye on the pretty little flower in the corner. CJ

Very nice Brent! Colors and texture, with a clever use of focal point. - angioman

Thanks all :-) Hadn't thought of it previously, but I guess I do have a pretty flower for the girls and nasty sharp spines that will draw blood to please the blokes ;-)

Much better Brent. Clever to use bokeh to push the subject into a corner and hold it there. -Doug

The colors are delicious Brent - not too overdone. and the sharp flower has lots of corners under the now accepted general definition. A zillion points for corners in the corner. -tv

I like the corner sharpness and the blur of colors.

Great thinking mate, cactus for the blokes & a pretty flower for the girls all in one vote getting picy.
You're really not scared of high Iso now a. Nicely done Brent.
