So true!

Good luck Aam. My boys are 7 and 5. The hardest part at these ages is getting a natural smile. Say cheese does not work. -Doug

Doug, this photo gave me an idea since my twin nieces are coming for lunch tomorrow. Hope they cooperate. Not an easy task for kids their age (7). Wish me luck :)

Thanks for the comments girls. -Doug

Such a sweet shot, Doug. Simple and natural looking...it shows the rest of us what can be done with this topic.

This is so nice Doug and very poignant, like he's yearning to go out and disappointed that he can't. I love that condensation around his little hand! :-) CJ

I like it and wonder what he is thinking? Sort of like ET.

Thanks Aam. -Doug

Really good, Doug. Me like :)

Thanks all for the comments. The webbing around his hand indeed is just fog on the glass. The exposure was a patience thing, waiting for the light outside to not be too bright. -Doug

I really like this composition, with just the right angle to his gaze. The sharp focus on the window drops is nice too! Why the ghosting around the fingers - is that fog on the window or blur? - angioman

What a wonderful picture - Perfectly exposed and composed and just right for the topic!

Good one Doug. You scored very well on this but it will have to remain sealed because I don't want to discourage other posters. Now as to the Rodscale of 2 criteria, 1. I want this on my wall, but sorry to say I've had enough winter and 2. I don't want to go there. The hand on the window with its vapor webbing in the fingers is magical as if he were commandeering the weather outside. -tv

Well I'm glad it snowed. I forgot to mention how well this is exposed with just enough light wrapping around the back & arm. The skin tones are so natural looking too.

Thanks Rod and thanks for your patience. We had the easiest winter I can remember with no snow in the metro area until last week. Now it's in the forcast about every other day so I had to figure out something indoors. -Doug

All good things come to those who wait & this picy was well worth waiting for. You have used the corners like a true photographic ahrtiiist. I think it might be time for you to give up your day job & become a full time starving artiiiist mate. It's so hard to get more than one corner happening with good composition but you have done it with ease. You have put such great talented artiiiists like me & Tommy to shame here so don't be surprised if he marks you really low cos after so much adulation we become sore losers.
Excellent picy mate.
