I'm not that kind of guy, Charlie :)

Nice capture of a dramatic moment. I think I would have "lied" to the world, and replaced the construction paraphernalia, perhaps putting the horse and rider against a background of country hills, grass, and sky. ;-)

Thanks CJ and Rod (sorry I missed your comment earlier, mate). CJ, you read my mind. I like it, like you, for the jacket and the curvy tail. Cheers lady and gentleman.

Another great action shot aam. I like the look of concentration on your beautiful relative's face and her flying jacket and that matching flicking tail! :-) CJ

Thank you Lydia, YB, and Tom. Noticed that all of them start eying the next "hurdle" once they are off the peek of the jump, they must be trained that way.

Good capture Aam. I think this challenge has given you a chance to show your niche although it sometimes pops up in other topics. The composure of the young lady on the jumping horse is quite astonishing. -tv

I really like it when I can see both faces. Good one, aam! ~Lydia

Good capture Aam - I like how the viewer is left wondering what the rider is looking at.

Very good composition, dynamic and dramatic (due to those missing legs). I'm wondering that some look more likely for the bacground than for the theme :) DaB

Yes agree with Brent about the background. The ones you have posted with the seats in the background make for a better overall look. When I first saw this I thought I wanted to see the horses front legs as well but the overall angle of the horse seems to make this work OK. Nicely done mate.

He he :-)

For the record, her father is 6'4. Just sayin' :)
aam1234 02-Mar-2009 03:04
Very OK, and nice of you :)
ctfchallenge02-Mar-2009 03:02
Ha ha, really- a relative? Well you can maybe please tell her I think she looks very regal and fit and her horse isn't the only one with beautiful hair flowing in the breeze- hope that is okay to say :-)
~Brent

I know (about the construction), but I also know that you are a single guy, so watch what you say about my relatives :)
ctfchallenge02-Mar-2009 02:41
Great action shot Aam, it's just a little too bad about the construction in the background :-( These horses are beautiful and apparently as seen here some of the riders are too.

Nice catch, Penny (400s). And thanks for the nice compliment about the photo.
ctfchallenge02-Mar-2009 00:56
nice angle - beautiful horse AND you got her facing your direction!
Did you plan the 400s?? (1/400s 400.0mm iso400) Penny Street
