Thanks, CJ. I like the photo for the reasons you stated. Cheers.

I like this one a lot aam, even if I can't see the rider's face. The rows of colored chairs in the background and the gate frame the horse perfectly and the dark horse stands out well from the light background. Another beautiful animal! :-) CJ

Thank you Tom and Doug. You are too kind. Cheers.

Not only the feet pushing off the corner but nicely done leaving a place for the horse to land as well. -Doug

This works well Aam - no obvious residual exposure problems either. One of the best of this series and other similar shots. I love the way the horse is pushing off the lower left of the frame. -tv

Good observation, Penny. Very smart.

That section was closed for renovation, which you can see in my last entry. Had big problem taking pics of this contest because I couldn't go to the other side where the sun will be on my back. Had trouble with exposure.

I was waiting for you to ask..... So, I really like the red patterns to offset the action. You must certainly have an "in" to have shot these with no other spectators (or was the away team just missing?) Penny Street

Penny, would love to hear what you wanted to say.

OKAY - so I just posted a long comment and it's gone. I think I figured out something because I bet I posted mine at the exact instant that aam posted his and he won. Penny STreet

Well, thank you mate. Appreciate your encouragement.

See, things are different here. Sport (any kind) is a social rather than a commercial activity. Anyone can walk-in in any game to either watch or take pictures of. Mostly for free. As a matter of fact, the clubs and players will be happy to see you taking pics of their games.

Very nice Aam. I think this represents well the skills involved by the rider as well as the horse. All the repeated red looks great- especially those pleasingly OOF chairs in the background. So do you have permission to roam about the area quite a bit? Looks as though you were able to get right where you needed to be. Great work!
