This is not PP blur. This is a direct 1:1 pixel crop from the camera JPEG, so those are individual camera sensor sites and the NR/antialiasing of the camera. The only adjustment I made was a HSV stretch after cropping. Maybe I can stick the original photo in pending with some indication of the cropped region, but I'll have to reduce it first since it is 4000x3000 pixels.
This is a decently clear day due to the preceding storm that dropped the snow. It gets much clearer after a stronger storm with good winds and rain. Today the mountains are not visible at all, and only the foreground hills can be seen.
Is that really snow on the hills in S.Calif? If that view is from your home, you are very lucky indeed! Now, our illustrious leader did say no PP blur but this still looks nice. It would be interesting to see what this view looks like straight from the camera. How far away are the hills and do you always get this clear a view? CJ
