I like the directional lighting here to create some interesting shadows. This looks like a nice soft, fuzzy place to curl up in the sun for a little nap! :-D CJ

Thank you, Aam and Christakis.

What exactly would a tripod contribute to here? There's no camera-shake and it's not like it needs any more DOF. The sun does give it a nice effect Mary Anne. Good shot :)

Good light you have there, Mary Anne.

Actually, I did sharpen it a bit to emphasize the fuzzy fibers. I didn't used a tripod, as I was about to lose the light.

It seems the light has caught all the stray hairs which makes it look over sharpened & not so soft looking. Great idea though.

nicely shown colors and texture. I'm wondering if you used a tripod. Penny Street

The Sun did add color. I like it Mary Anne.

Thanks, Doug. It was the late afternoon sun falling through my dining room window.

Great choise of lighting with plenty of it to keep every wild strand in the image. Looks good Mary Anne. -Doug
