Much better, at least I think so! :-D CJ

Thanks Troy. CJ...I tweaked it a bit; I did a high pass sharpen and a little more curves adjustment. What do you think? I'm a little leery of too much sharpening. I had cataract surgery a couple years ago and every shot I processed before the surgery looks awful to me now. I'm trying to learn a happy medium. :) ~dtallakson

I like the soft look. Nice.

I seldom use a tripod either DT so I have to be careful to have the shutter fast enough for this non-IS lens. I think this would benefit by some additional PP though, as this is a very nice image and with a bit more contrast, levels, and sharpening, (I tried it), and it looks even better (at least to me LOL!). :-) CJ

Thanks CJ. It's a tiny flower on a Jade plant. It's less than 1/2 inch across. It might be a little soft because I hand-held the camera since I hate tripods. I did do the string tripod thing but it doesn't work as well as a real tripod. ~dtallakson

Lovely flower DT - what is it? It seems slightly soft to me or in need of a little PP to sharpen it up though. CJ
