Thanks Tv, it helps to have a willing subject. :)

This is sooo nice - well framed, great exposure, terrific detail and pretty subject with soul instead of cliche. -tv

Yes, it's a mathematical formula, and was derived from observing nature by Faroes (spelling) and Greeks. I'll post a link to a diagram in the main thread. Have a look there in few minutes.

Aam, I did google and didn't find much except alot of math equations?
aam1234 07-Jan-2009 22:44
Sueanne, Google "Golden mean" and have a look at the diagrams.

Love the framing here (reminds me of the Golden Rule). Just right. Cute kid too.

I really like this shot. Very nice tone and detail.

Thanks CJ,
Unfortunately, I only took one picture and the original had abit of the 'right' I cropped to get rid of the excess space.
Thanks Rod and Debi - I see the orange now and fixed it.
Daughter's skin is like mine. :)

Very pretty Sue , she has such lovely skin - Debi

Look at those lovely eyelashes, really nice light on the face Suey & agree with a slight crop on the left.

Lovely portrait Sue Anne! The chin seems a little too close to the edge though - do you have any more room in the original? The little bit of color on the left is a little distracting but other than those little nits, I think this is really, really nice! :-) CJ

Thank you Doug and Penny :)
.... yes I am bias but wouldn't want her to be a model - use the brains instead of looks. :)

I like the composition Sue Anne. Wow is she growing up and she should be a seasoned model before too long. -Doug
