So you didn't use any flash? That is what messed up my attempts. How bright was is anw to use 1/1000 speed?

Thanks all. I was just playing around. Did not realise it will turn out any good. The natural light helped - Debi

Wow nicely done! I must admit I made several attempts in the past to get a shot like this but failed. Reminds me to try again...

Nice shot. That watch must be fairly new...or, I'm really tough on watches. Mine all look scratched when I do a macro of them. ~dtallakson

Thanks Rod- actually I am enjoying playing around with the raynox. Thanks for the feedback Carole & Doug. The watch is my colleagues, He agreed to be my hand model little knowing I am shooting a macro - Debi

Good shot Debi - looks like a great watch - it has enough dials! :-) CJ

Nicely done megirl & I think I like the shadows too for some added interest. Why don't you try some close ups with your SLR & maybe long lens you will get some great bokeh.
