Thanks Doug, Carole, and Aam :-) Believe or not I didn't pump the saturation on this one Aam- we get some crazy sunsets this time of year and the colors really get wild once the sun dips over the horizon.

While I love the colors I think they are a bit too saturated (to me). Good framing.

Wow! Beautiful colors in those clouds and a nice background for the trees and bushes framing the scene! CJ

I'd say you have the sunrise/sunset formula nailed down. -Doug

I like that rhyme YB- could have used it back in the Ryme Thyme challenge :-)

Now you're just showing off Brent, focusing manually indeed, wotever next:-)

Thanks Rod, this was converted with DPP using the standard style. Our sunsets really do get this wild. I focused this manually and tried to get the trees as sharp as possible. No noise reduction here. I really miss using Lightroom to do my conversions (they don't have a plug-in for 5D2 yet). I tried to convert the RAW to DNG which Lightroom can use but couldn't get the converter to work. Supposedly CS4 can do the conversion now and I suppose I will upgrade- though Lightroom should have it soon.

Where did you focus for this picy & did you try focusing on the trees at all? What picture style are you using? Questions, questions:-)Nicely done mate.
