Thanks Penny and Rod....
I do thank you Rod for letting me try but sometimes my b/w is harder for me to convert.

looks good now. Nice idea too! Penny Street

Yes this is better Suey & well done on giving it go. The inside walls look a lot better in your colour version.

Rod,
I did do dodge and burning but afraid I'm not that expert on it.
So I am going to go back to the original view of what I saw up the chute.

This B&W looks a bit insipid Suey, you need some deep blacks & selective dodging & burning in to give it some life. The colour one was fine in the silo but the blown light at the top doesn't look good in colour. You might be better off with the colour one if you don't feel like working on this.

In the color version, my eye seemed to be drawn to the little hole where you focus is, in the BW version, I barely notice it. I think I liked the color one better too, but this one is good. - J.V.

Hmmmm- thanks for the input. I didn't think what I had was too distracting but since I changed it, I won't change it back but have kept a color version for myself. :)

Nice capture Sueanne, I did prefer the colour, but this works equally well. It has a good deal of visual movement, textural details and perspective all working together. ~keithinmelbourne

Nice, but I actually liked the color version better. Beautiful light beige and blue there. I tend to fall for that combo. (And don't listen to Brent! He's *all* about distractions when it comes to concrete!!! lol ;))

B&W is the poor man's way of solving color problems (at least I sometimes feel I'm copping out that way). Like a guilty pleasure, it does make it easy to like. This works quite well as such. -tv

Neat image Sue Anne. Maybe having the wood stand out less in B&W is a good thing as the viewer won't be distracted away from the concrete as much.

Thank you Rod - I think I like this better too (though you miss out on seeing the right side wood. :)

This works a lot better for me in B&W Suey as it makes better use of all that light streaming in the top. I've stuck it in Pending wiv some added burning & dodging......of course:-)
