Thanks Rod mate :-) Tie dye shirts bring back fond memories of my masochistic days when I for several years in a row was part of a twelve person team that got together annually to do the world's largest relay race (Hood to Coast- about 197 miles in a little less than 24 hrs). There were hundreds of teams, but each year we always had newly designed tie dye shirts to stand out in the crowd between and after we took our turns running.

I used to luv the tie dye shirts Brent, I must be getting old:-) The colours look less overpowering on my second look.

Thanks again for the comments everyone :-) I just tried switching the image to grayscale in Lightroom Rod and have to say with all the varied color to work with you can get some neat B&W effects moving around the sliders. Still, this park is all about color (like a tie-dye shirt) and that is what draws people in to it when they happen by.

I'm ac dc with this one as it looks like a good picy but I find the colours overpowering. I tried a B&W with it & preferred that but it isn't as happy looking as this one.

Such a great shot, Brent, and how lucky that you happened by at just the right time!

Its good to get a splash of color in the this monochromatic challenge. - J.V.

Lucky strike. Even without the colors, this would have been very interesting. Great poses and shadows. *With* the colors, it's a technical knock-out. In other words: Wow :)

Thanks you guys :-) A strange ugly fiberglass building some called the blob sat for years where this small park is now. They tore it down some time ago and the lot sat empty and bordered by these huge concrete retaining walls from adjacent buildings on either side. As I commented earlier; the new park they made out of the space seemed very plain to me until I finally went by it at night. There are hundreds of big LED light panels linked behind the small cement border the girls are standing on and the colors change back and forth (I did not boost the saturation). My models just happened along when I had my tripod setup and I snuck in a few frames while they were playing around and posing- they are mostly shadows anyway.

Stunning image Brent. Who'd a thunk that concrete could be so colourful! I like the the pose of the figures, as well. They add a good deal of intrigue to the shot. ~ keithinmelbourne

Thanks Penny :-) This is a new park near my house, I had no idea about the color until about a week ago when I saw it at night for the first time- quite intense.
