Thanks CJ, Tv, Brent, Penny and K2.
Brent,Penny - about the title, was trying to do a play on "curing concrete".
Tv, the arches are painted yellow.
Penny, this is supposedly a bath for the royal folks.
K2, this place is full of history, learnt a lot about the history of Southern Spain.

Nice picture, good colors. (I think the title is a typo for "Curving the arches", where curving may refer to the reflection. There may be an architectural reference here that I'm missing though. (From Wikipedia: "The palace is one of the best remaining examples of mudéjar architecture, a style under Christian rule in Spain but using Islamic architectural influence.")

From what I read about Real Alcazar, I think this is (or used to be) a swimming pool in the royal residence. That still doesn't explain the "curing" though.

Cool image RK. I am trying to understand the 'curing" part. Is that water there to provide humidity for some kind of curing process- maybe of concrete? Or do I just sound like I'm on drugs? ;-)

Contrasting light and color effects. Are the arches painted yellow? -tv

And now you're in Seville! Nice arches and great light, shadows and reflections. No doubt about concrete here! :-) CJ
