7th: Two Sides of the River by tvsometime

Hudson River

The far side is Battery Park City in lower Manhattan built on land fill over old piers. The near side is burnt out piers in Hoboken, NJ.

What an utterly peculiar sight.. like remnants of the sunken Atlantis. How many poles are there?? I'm almost surprised the place isn't swarmed with dinghies - full of photographers lol. You guys are spoiled rotten.

Yes the B&W works very nicely here & the composition looks great. If you don't win this challenge after getting your new camera you will have to answer to your missus:-)
