Great image and very creative! Had me guessing for some time...which I particularly enjoy ;o)

A tip of the fedora to my friend in New Zealand. YES, it is a road sign. It says "ROAD CLOSED 1000 FEET." The image is the inside of the letter "D" The background is a hideous orange which I shifted more to the red.

Is it the reflective portion of a road sign? Perhaps a stop sign?
Guest 08-Jan-2003 12:40
The honeycomb is the background.
Guest 08-Jan-2003 05:45
Is the black part of it, or is it the background?
Guest 07-Jan-2003 23:25
Well, there were numbers on this one but often there aren't any. And I've never see this on a house. It's totally opaque so it wouldn't be much help on the front of a spot light.

glow in the dark house number?

Front end glass of a spot light.?

You're getting close on the reflector bit but this would never be found on a bike.
Guest 06-Jan-2003 04:51
Hey Pops...is it a bike reflector?
Cheers, Dan

Sorry, Jim, but that's not even close. Although my son had one in his room when he was a teenager (many many years ago!) these are almost always found outside.

Looks like a air filter for a furnace or the like.
Guest 05-Jan-2003 13:49
This item never varies much from ambient air temperature and it neither has or needs a power source.

a ceramic cooker top, while lit?
