Another Lycaenid butterfly. Genus Jamides.
Notice the eyes and the tail. Lycaenids use the tail as
a defense against predators. If one observes the tail of this
butterfly, its hindwings display a grinding motion. The predator
thinks this the head, with the antennae and eyes look alike.
The butterfly can still fly with a broken wing but not with a
damaged antennae. A hit on the head will be fatal.
