Yep. I agree with you both. This could be a lot better but when you're mining your existing photo library sometimes beggars can't be choosers. That and it's not worth the five tanks of gas and the 24 hours of driving so I can re shoot this. But then... another week on the beach???? Thanks for the input.

I'm having quite a conversation with myself about this topic as I work my way through all of the posts.

This has the elements of a high key image... but Sharon raises an interesting point? There would be "no question" if there was one 'subject' shell for example and the rest as background with minimal detail showing... but then??? a flower with stacks of petals and more to the point... dark almost black background seems not to raise that question? ( except for me...I question that?)

So Pops, I reckon this is grouse and I shall move on continuing to scratch my head until the splinters become too painful to tolerate?... ;-)

A good idea here, Pops. I think it needs a single subject for focus, one larger or more colorful shell, perhaps? As it is it just seems kind of busy to me. I do like the thinking here though! ~Sharon
