Sorry for the delay in responding. Been out of touch for a short while. I believe I did not have to bend down or kneel, in order to get this perspective. So it must be over 10 feet to the top. I seem to recall the oval being about six feet wide, but it has been nearly two years, and I might be wrong about that.
This is a great start and is a good example of how high key works with subjects other than portraits.
I did not comment earlier trying to get my head around what is HK. To my thinking, this has an element of low key (with the contrasty vertical objects and their edge highlights) but overall the image in my opinion is certainly high key.
I guess, somewhere in any image there needs to be sufficient contrast in order to see detail otherwise we would have lots of "polar bears in snow storms" ???
So as I scratch my head about highs and lows I reckon this is great anyway. Well composed and quite an eye-catching abstract.
