The Russian-American band Yoke, playing at Makor in New York. Original with Exif info lost, but definitely taken with a Canon 10D, probably about f/2.8 at 1/60.

Here's what I was thinking: foreground, trombone and music stand; middle, singer; background, curtain/flame pattern. They just happen to all be across the center instead of top, middle and bottom of the frame. You are welcome to decide whether it fits the "layered" theme or not.

Nice capture, Joshua! You will have to help me out, though, with respect to "layered-ness" here? How to you interpret the pic in this respect? Kind regards Nico
