That confuses me, dt. Were you shooting in A mode?? Or what? Which one of those did you chose? Or all of them (manual)?
I'm trying to learn to do this type of excellence in bright sun/movement and I can't figure it out. *sigh* Why the 500 ISO? I think this is where I mess up. Will you help me, please? ~lydia
Having tried a billion times (without success) to capture bees on flowers, I get jealous when I see others doing it so effortlessly - or so it seems! The photograph has a wonderfully "soft", "dreamy", kind of feeling to it. It reminds me of the stuff Orton became famous for.
Please also see my comment underneath Lydia's "Two for a Manicure". I would have said there are two layers involved here too.
By the way, in the Challenge some time ago about "Bokeh", this might also have been a strong entry.
