Yes, Melbob: they were a "classical" couple, a boy (on the left hand side of the picture) and a girl. I was just teasing, kidding, joking; if my remark was also thought-provoking, the better. I haven't seen the "twisted ankles", though... ;-) Many thanks for your friendly compliment! -- db.

Interesting comments about the gender of these two. I had no doubt that the sneakers belonged to a 'he' not because of the type of sneaker but because of the stance... and because of the fitting of the jeans?.... Interesting???

You did not confirm if this is the case or not Daniel... I am interested?

And I imagine there are lots of twisted ankles around this 'neck of the woods' ;-)

Good thought provoking image Daniel ~ Regards Melbob

Thank you, Neil Marcus, for your encouraging remark (which I had not seen until now because you had marked it "private"; it is therefore not visible for anyone of us visiting here while logged-in into our own pbase accounts). Sorry! -- db.

Well, k2, I do agree with you not only as far as the honorific title "she" goes, especially for someone who "masters" those high-heeled shoes on such an *unforgiving ground* (hence the presumed on-topicness of my image). Both were "kids"--probably still teenagers--who did, BTW, not quite understand why I wanted to take that picture but accomodated in a charming and friendly way. -- Thanks, k2, for commenting! -- db.

Love your "blues". As for the people in the picture: Anyone who master high heeled shoes like that deserves to be titled "she" - regardless of gender! lol
(The other one.. dunno.. looks like a kid to me.)

How come you know the sex of these people? You are not prejudiced, tv, are you? ;-)) Thank you both for commenting, Penny and tv. -- db.

Interesting illusion: she looks much taller than he. -tv
