Intended to do this shot with my Canon, so that I would have at least one eligible entry for today. But alas, the battery for that one is not behaving.

Thank you Kelly. This is a silk scarf that I tossed up into the air from my upper deck. I would take my camera in one hand, the scarf in the other, pre-focus the camera on the railing (about 5-7 ft away or so), and toss the scarf up into the air while almost simultaneously trying to track it and press the shutter. So I was moving around a lot and the scarf was all over the place. I wanted a shot of the scarf in free fall with nothing but blue sky in the background. The original idea came from a photograph on the inner sleeve of the 'Wish You Were Here' album of a red scarf just above some grass with rows of trees behind it. --mlynn
