Great use of blurring to lead the eye into the image and the paper! CJ

Thanks for the comments folks. The feedback really helps my learning process.

Jim, I don't feel proficient enough at my hobby to do any studio work yet (and I also really enjoy shooting real life). So I simply take the Camera on my travels and allow the challenge theme to influence the subjects I shoot. This means my shots tend to come from where I happen to be. As it's holiday season it probably looks like I get around more than I do (I'm sure I'm working hard at the moment!), but travelling is definitely a passion.

Bob. It's a single image shot at the lens' maximum aperture (F4) to give a narrow dof. But your instincts are good and there is a little more going on. At this distance at F4 the dof was still too deep. In particular the guy with the Camera and the bush were too prominent so I used a little blur in PP to narrow the dof and heighten the effect.

Regards -Najinsky

Great display of minute DOF. Is this a merge of two images or one... very nice. ~ Regards Melbob
